Consumers the brand is interested in speak. Speak their language, using the right tone, and you can create genuine connections. Analyze the communication they have according to the context. It's possible for the same people to communicate one way when they're on LinkedIn and another way when they're on TikTok or Instagram. Check out the newsgroups too (Facebook groups are a treasure trove). You can generally adapt your tone of voice and communication style after observing how your target audience communicates

Do they use a formal or informal tone? do i use Special Data emojis or not? do you identify in their communication? do they have the habit of addressing brands directly? what emotions do you identify in their communication? To some extent, the recommendation would be to mirror the tone of voice identified in the brand's audience. Or, even better, develop a tone that becomes complementary, in harmony, with that used by consumers. Step 4. Develop a tone of voice instruction guide.

Develop a short how-to guide. It doesn't have to be something very complicated and detailed. But it must always be consistent with the personality and voice of the brand, as well as with the target audience (keep Buyer Persona in mind, so). The guide should include: The brand's values, mission and vision Brand personality and voice (key adjectives, see Step 1); Tone and tone of voice (trait subset, see Step 2); Rules in communication: vocabulary to use/avoid, use of emojis; A detailed portrait of the target audience (Buyer Persona profile) with observations related to the voice of consumers (see Step 3). Now that.
